This course is a great opportunity because it will span multiple outdoor activities and addresses the three major things that employers look for when assessing job applicants. Those being personal experience, formal training, and certifications. We intend to provide all three of these throughout the length of the course to give the participant a solid foundation to start pursuing their career goals as well as help them to find out what those may be.

Participants will finish the course confident and capable of planning and executing personal trips to continue growing in knowledge and experience in their skills and to pursue more advanced certifications. The outdoor industry is an environment of continued education and ongoing skill refinement that is why it is important to continue to practice one’s skills and pursue further education.
