What is Adventure for the City? We're packing up everything that makes Camp Eagle adventurous and impactful, and hitting the road! Our desire is to partner with churches across the nation, to bring Christ-centered programming outside the borders of our camps and into your backyard.
Read more about what we believe.
To make camp more accessible so that every child can experience Christ-like change through outdoor adventure, authentic relationships and Biblical truth.
We believe it is important to invest in children, to teach them the love of Christ and help them get to know their Heavenly Father. Our hope is to make Christ the cornerstone of their lives now, so they'll grow up to be God-fearing men and women who proclaim the Gospel with boldness and grace.
What to Expect
The fun begins at 8 am each morning, so please try to drop your child off at that time. Adventure for the City campers will experience just about everything Camp Eagle has to offer – from rock climbing to archery tag to soaking-wet water activities – supervised by the world's most energetic counselors. For one week, they'll worship with friends, explore God's unchanging Word and learn what it means to be a kid who follows Christ. The day ends at 4:30 pm with free time and parent pick-up.
You will be notified of what your child needs to pack and bring to camp, as well as what not to bring, daily.
Camp Eagle hires college students from all over the country to staff our camp each summer. The application process consists of a detailed questionnaire, multiple references, interviews, and background checks. In searching for the staff God would have lead your students, we look for passionate followers of Christ who align with our vision for Christ-like change.
Health & Safety
Safety is taken very seriously at Camp Eagle. Camp Eagle strives to ensure that every activity from low elements to high ropes, zip lines and fun challenges are properly created, installed, facilitated, and maintained. In addition, the facilities are inspected and certified annually by qualified third party organizations. While adventure activities hold a certain level of inherent risk, our staff is trained to provide a healthy and positive environment to experience outdoor adventure in.
