The ultimate mentor. Live life 24/7 with campers in a small group setting (1:6 ratio), leading them through epic adventures and sharing the Word of God daily.

Junior Staff

Help make camp run! Our junior staff play a pivotal role in making sure we serve guests well with your primary responsibility being helping clean dishes from meals at camp. You’ll also get to experience what it is like to directly work with campers and give them an amazing camp experience!

Wilderness Cook

Be responsible for one of the most memorable aspects of camp—the food. You’ll assist the Summer Kitchen Manager in preparing meals, keeping the kitchen stocked and inventoried, maintaining a clean guest and kitchen environment, and managing special on-trail food drops or meals.

Dish Clean Lead

Everyone needs to eat! You can help by assisting with meal prep and cleaning for the many guests of all Camp Eagle programs.

Childcare Staff

Help create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for the youngest members of our camp community! As part of the Childcare Staff, you’ll lead a small daytime program caring for multiple staff kids in a shared space on camp. Think of it as running a mini-day camp—playing games, leading simple activities, managing snacks, and nap times. All to help little ones feel loved and cared for while their parents serve around camp.

FAQs

Is there cell service or WiFi?

You’ll be “unplugged” while with campers to stay present, but we have designated staff WiFi zones for your off-time.

Think Chacos, a Bible, and your favorite 5-inch inseam shorts (the best for climbing harnesses!). We’ll send you a full packing list once you’re hired.
Yes! Many staff use their leadership or specialized roles (Media, Office, Medics) to fulfill university internship requirements.
Nope! We train every staff member to lead, teach, and care for campers in a safe, Christ-centered environment.

We encourage our summer staff to work for the full season. Doing so provides the ability to gain specialized skills and experience, and fosters the great sense of community that we are known for!

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. Every staff member is trained, and all activities follow strict guidelines.
