Minister’s Escape FAQs

Registration Information
GROUP REGISTRATION: If you are coming with a group and are the group leader, please complete the registration and be prepared to share the link with others from your church. If you are part of a group attending Minister’s Escape, please contact your group leader for the registration link.

Lodging Information
As the group leader, you’ll have the option to reserve 1 or 2 bunk rooms for your church. How you split the rooms is up to you. Please contact Faith with any questions or concerns.

Coming as an individual? Book a hostel bed under the “SSV” drop-down menu. Email Faith if you are interested in a private room (first-come, first-served)

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes! Our goal is to make camp as safe as possible, but adventure activities have inherent risks. We ask that EVERYONE attending Minister’s Escape acknowledge this by reviewing and signing a waiver.

What should I bring?

• Twin size bedding or sleeping bag
• Pillow
• Towel & washcloth
• Comfy clothes—plan for warmer days + cooler evenings & mornings
• Swimsuit
• Comfy shoes—closed-toe preferred—you can hike in
• Spending money for the camp store & coffee shop
• Personal toiletries, medications, & first aid supplies
• Flashlight
• Bible, notebook, & pen
• Refillable water bottle
• Sunscreen & bug spray
  

What should I not bring?
How often do you get to truly live off the grid? Let’s enjoy it by leaving these items at home:

• Walkie­ Talkies
• Knives, weapons, or anything sharp
• Pets—not even little cute pets.
• Alcohol or drugs
• Your Own Harness / Helmet
• MP3 players
• Electronic Devices

Does Camp Eagle offer Financial Aid?
Absolutely. We have a limited number of scholarships due to the generosity of donors who make it possible.
