Summer 2026 Theme: Discover

This year, we’re setting out on a journey to discover who God is and what He’s done for us!
This year, we’re setting out on a journey to discover who God is and what He’s done for us!
As explorers, we will retrace Paul’s steps throughout the letters of Romans to Philemon. Once we set out, we’ll uncover the treasures hidden in these letters by venturing back to the places that Paul was writing to long ago. We will dig into what was happening in these cities and people’s lives in order to better decipher what these letters are saying and how we can use them to help in our journey with Christ. We will learn about God’s greatness, our need for a savior, Jesus’ sacrifice, the Spirit’s work, and how our faith calls us to live. Together, we’ll discover that the real treasure is a transformed life in Christ.

Seven Summers.
His story.

We want to take all Camp Eagle visitors on a journey through Scripture designed to grow with campers as they attend camp year over year. Every year, we focus on a different part of the Bible, intending to walk through the entirety of the Bible and discover Jesus’ redemptive story. Each summer builds on the last. As each visitor grows, so does their understanding of Scripture and their relationship with Jesus.

Why This Matters

We believe kids deserve to see how the whole Bible fits together and how their faith connects to the bigger story God is writing.

Seven summers. One continuous journey through Scripture.

They won’t just know Bible stories. They’ll see how the entire Bible points to Jesus — the One who came to redeem us and make all things new.

And here’s the good news: it doesn’t matter where they start. Whether this is their first summer or they’re joining mid-journey, each summer stands on its own while building toward the bigger picture of Jesus’ amazing love story. First-timers and returners both walk away changed.

Faith You Can Touch

At Camp Eagle, Scripture comes alive through experiential learning. Team challenges, outdoor adventures, interactive Biblical teaching, and hands-on re-enactments turn Biblical truths into experiences they’ll never forget. Out here, the Hill Country is the classroom.

Same Story.

Deeper Every Year.

Each summer, all summer programs explore the same part of Scripture but the depth and application change as campers grow.

Group Camp

(Junior High and High School Youth Groups)
Group Camp is designed for church youth groups ready to experience Camp Eagle together.
I had a truly religious and emotional experience in so many ways. I am forever grateful to have built new relationships with the campers from my church, as well as getting to really know some other parents. I saw the alignment God created in my life to get me to the spot I am in currently and was brought to tears by His beauty.

Examples of Experiential Learning

  • Campers interacting with each other and summer staff through group Bible studies and Walk and Talks.
  • Reading the Bible during 10 for 10s (10 minutes in the word at least 10 feet away from everyone else)
  • Seeing the Bible come to life through an evening experience
  • Outdoor adventures that reveal God’s character through creation
  • Everything from activities to group development is aimed toward scripture.

This is how faith sticks.
