This 3-day outdoor adventure getaway is the perfect opportunity for ministers and their families to take some time away from home and the everyday stresses that surround leading a congregation, for spiritual refreshment, decompression and a chance to get deeper with God.
Real One-On-One Time With God and Family
Pastors need a vacation too. And opportunities for pastors and their staff to recharge are not available—or affordable. Whatever situation you find yourself in as a leader, finding time for intimacy with God and with your family are necessities. Our adventure retreats are specially designed for pastors and their families to take some time away from home. Paying attention to your personal spiritual well-being is crucial for a healthy relationship with God.

Opportunities for pastoral staff to recharge aren't always affordable—or available. Camp Eagle's Ministers Escape retreats are free. And we're an easy drive for people in the West and Southwest. This is how we serve pastors, their staff, and their families. We can't wait to welcome you and let you recharge.
Unwind
Your retreat is flexible so that you can get the most relaxation out of your trip. Feel free to participate in as much or as little of what we have planned as you like. The important thing is that you relax, unwind and spend time with God – whether alone or in a group. We just want you to be spiritually and physically refreshed.
Escape
Camp Eagle is located right in the heart of Texas, a place with so much natural beauty created by the hand of God. Scenic wonder and natural beauty abound in Texas Hill County. Just about any road to camp travels through charming towns loaded with character and down-home Texas hospitality. Places like Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Wimberly, and many more dot the map as you make your way to and from Camp. And Texas treasures like The Lost Maples, Enchanted Rock, Hamilton Pool, Pedernales Falls, or Garner State Park can be found along almost any highway.

Ministers' Escape Retreat FAQ
Yes! Our goal is to make camp as safe as possible, but adventure activities have inherent risks. We ask that EVERYONE attending Minister's Escape acknowledges this by reviewing and signing a waiver.
- Twin size bedding or sleeping bag

- Towel & washcloth
- Comfy clothes—plan for warmer days + cooler evenings & mornings
- Swimsuit
- Comfy shoes—closed-toe preferred—you can hike in
- Spending money for the camp store & coffee shop
